Hi there everyone!
It has been a while since I have written on here, have you missed me?
Now that I have turned 24, I would like to share a couple of thoughts reflecting back on things, especially during this lockdown which meant I have ended up with more free time to myself.
I have always been a fan of making a pasta, stir fry, egg fried rice, pancakes and stews, as they are relatively easy to cook up, as well as helping to boost nutrition and using up leftovers. There is also so much scope with creativity as well making those dishes, I always aim for a balance of meat and vegetables, and protein as well.

My go to ingredients tend to be: carrots, french beans, onions, potatoes, garlic and meat for a filling stew (marinate the meat for a couple of hours before browning in pan, for extra flavour), whereas for stir fries I love sweet peppers and kale, giving the dish a pop of colour.
Pancakes wise-contrary to having it with sweet toppings, I am actually a fan of savoury ones, especially grating carrots and courgettes into the batter mixtures, or making eggless versions with spring onions.
The best thing about cooking is that not only you get to experiment with different kinds of foods (plus cooking up a storm), but it’s also quite therapeutic too. Though must admit it’s very difficult to get a delivery slot for online shopping at supermarkets.
I still haven’t found the perfect shade of foundation as of yet, as most of them don’t fit my foundation some way or the other, though I think I might have created a new natural look, through wearing a bit of moisturiser, primer and a tiny bit of blush, or highlighter?

The sun has been shining recently too, and undoubtedly it is so difficult to resist the thought about heading out and enjoying the sunshine… however given what has been going on at the moment, it’s best to avoid or limit going out unless necessary.
It’s also the time to check out more TV shows and series, my current favourites are Line of Duty, Fleabag, Doctor Who, Derry Girls, Gavin & Stacey, Outnumbered and The Vicar of Dibley… future series on my to-watch list include Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel and Community.
Films wise I have watched quite a number of them so far, such as live action versions of Cinderella, Aladdin and Lady and the Tramp, as well as Matilda, It Takes Two, The Princess Bride, The Spy Next Door, Legally Blonde and The King’s Speech. Future ones to watch on the list are Clueless, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, The Theory of Everything and Erin Brockovich.
Prior to the lockdown, I started getting back into reading, both books which I had read before, together with new books that I happen to have discovered.

Apart from reading, I have also been doing some sewing and colouring, which can be easily immersed in, together with helping to pass the time and learning to be more creative and focused on the details.

Whatever you do during this uncertain period of time, stay safe by exploring new hobbies and interests from home if at all possible, and above all, be kind to yourself and others.
Hope you enjoy reading this, I look forward to your thoughts too!
Take care and lots of love,
Tina x
